North East Rigging Systems has performed hundreds of sailboat rig survey. We receive survey requests from customers seeking reassurance in the continued safety and reliability of an older rig, customers wanting to tune their rig after lay-up or to increase their mid-season competitiveness and from customers/insurance companies seeking an impartial expert appraisal of damage and cost to repair. Our commitment is to place safety first. We will not let any customer (will do our damnedest) go to sea in a rig we believe to be unsafe for the intended cruise. Beyond this, we will give our expert opinion on what must/should/could be retained/replaced and then make specific vendor/system recommendations. Through years of experience we have learned what works best in various application. We believe our candid appraisal and systems expertise is why so many customers continue to return to North East Rigging Systems.
